The optional flounce detail adds a playful tropical feel and beautiful movement, while leaving it off creates a cleaner, more minimal look. Whether sewn as a classic swimsuit for holidays and poolside lounging or reimagined as a bodysuit worn with skirts, shorts or wide-leg trousers, Lucca is a versatile piece with plenty of styling potential.
Designed for stretch fabrics, Lucca hugs the body comfortably while the carefully shaped cut creates a smooth, confident fit. Finished with swimsuit elastic for support and structure, it’s a rewarding sewing project that results in a stylish handmade piece you’ll be excited to wear.
This is a PDF sewing pattern, ready to print at home or at a copy shop, with clear illustrated step-by-step instructions to guide you through the process.
Sizing: XS - XXXL (approximately UK 6 - 28/30). Please refer to the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements to find your best fit.
Suggested Fabrics: Stretch swimsuit fabric with good recovery. The designer used a recycled polyester and elastane blend. Lucca can also be sewn as a bodysuit using bi-stretch jersey fabrics.
Fabric Requirements: 110cm wide fabric: 105 - 175cm // 140cm wide fabric: 80 - 130cm. Please refer to the FIND YOUR SIZE tab for the exact fabric requirements and sizing.

If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition.
