Linen fabrics are a cool alternative to other synthetic fabrics making them a great choice for clothing in summer. They can also be used for creating stunning tablecloths, bedding and handkerchiefs. 
 
Linen is one of the oldest fabrics in the world, with a history dating back thousands of years to Egypt and Iraq. Known for its durability and sustainability, linen is completely free from plastic and other synthetic materials. Linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant which requires considerably less water to grow than other crops like cotton, making it an eco-friendly alternative.

Whilst linen is an incredibly strong, natural fibre, the more often it’s used, the softer it becomes, making it the perfect choice for those who love comfort.

Kit, as always arrived very rapidly. As usual 2 things missing my time and sewing machine, EVERYTHING else, including very clear instructions in the beautifully presented pack.

This is the 4th of the rag dolls I've made, the first being in the 1980s. They wash well and all have survived much love frome their playmates. Thank you for a fantastic rag doll.
