Looking for a dress that feels both effortless and beautifully put together? The Linger Dress by Maison Fauve strikes that perfect balance. With its clean panel construction and softly sculpted shape, it creates a long, fluid silhouette that’s light to wear and wonderfully comfortable. Wide straps add to the ease, while the minimalist design lets your fabric choice really shine.
With four variations included, this is a pattern you can return to again and again. Choose a deeper neckline with a modern racerback feel, or opt for the higher, bra-friendly version for everyday wear. The length can be adapted too, from a playful short dress to a more striking long version. However you make it, Linger is a quietly confident piece that works across seasons and occasions.
Sizing: EU 34–52. Drafted for a height of 165cm (5’5”). Please refer to the finished garment measurements in the product images to help you choose your size.

34–40: 240cm
42–48: 270cm
50–52: 290cm
Short dress:
34–44: 170cm
46–52: 200cm
You will also need:
- 40cm invisible zip
- 60cm fusible interfacing
Suggested Fabrics: Lightweight to medium-weight fabrics (100–200gsm) with softness and drape, such as poplin, crepe, lightweight jacquard, twill or dupion. Suitable fibres include viscose, cotton, linen, Tencel™ or silk. Fabrics with a fluid handle will best showcase the cut.
Ability: Beginner. Techniques include assembling panels without stretching the fabric, attaching a clean neckline facing and inserting an invisible side zip.

Returns
If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. Non-returnable items include kits once they have been cut, cut lengths of fabric, ribbons or trim, samples, sale items, and ex-demonstration items.
