Created by Anna Pantelous, the designer behind the much-loved Annaplexis website and the popular #tutorialthrow, this practical and encouraging guide takes you from complete beginner to confident knitter through a carefully structured series of 50 knitted swatches. Each square introduces a new technique, building gradually on the last so you can develop your skills in a clear and satisfying way.
You’ll learn all the essentials, from casting on and mastering knit and purl stitches, through to shaping, slip stitches and colourwork, as well as more advanced techniques such as knitting in the round and mosaic knitting. Every lesson is supported by step-by-step instructions and clear photography, with accompanying video tutorials available for each square for extra guidance when you need it.
Once your squares are complete, you’ll find full instructions for joining them together into a cosy blanket, with options for a full-size throw or a smaller baby version. A thoughtful and rewarding way to learn, this is a book you’ll return to as your skills grow.

Returns
If you change your mind about an item or have received the incorrect item then we offer a very straightforward return policy. You may return unwanted goods up to 28 days after purchase for exchange, a store credit, or a refund.
Returned merchandise must be in the condition sold with original packaging and any tags intact. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition and remain in a re-saleable condition. Non-returnable items include kits once they have been cut, cut lengths of fabric, ribbons or trim, samples, sale items, and ex-demonstration items.
