The silhouette is clean and ultra-flattering, elevated by a cleverly constructed drape that softly skims the tummy and defines the waist without ever feeling restrictive. It’s all in the thoughtful pleating and precise pattern cutting, creating a shape that feels as good to wear as it looks.
With four variations included, you can tailor the design to suit your style. Choose between sleeveless or short sleeves, and opt for a length above or below the knee. The boat neckline sits neatly to highlight the collarbones while remaining comfortably bra-friendly, making this a versatile piece you’ll reach for time and again. It works beautifully in both plain fabrics and prints, with the draped detail adding just the right amount of interest.
Sizing: UK 6-24 (FR 34-52). Drafted for a height of 165cm (5’5”). Please refer to the finished garment measurements in the product images to help you choose your size.

You will also need:
- 40cm invisible zip
- Fusible interfacing: 20cm for the sleeved version or 60cm for the sleeveless version
Suggested Fabrics: Lightweight to medium-weight fabrics (100–200gsm) with softness and drape, such as poplin, crepe, lightweight jacquard, twill or dupion. Suitable fibres include viscose, cotton, linen, Tencel™ or silk. Fabrics with a fluid handle will best showcase the pleats and drape.
Ability: Intermediate. Techniques include forming pleats, sewing the inset panel, attaching the neckline facing and inserting an invisible side zip.
