Bright, joyful, and bursting with summer colour, this Mini Sampler Quilt Kit is a perfect patchwork project for advancing beginners. Designed to build your confidence and expand your skills, it’s a creative journey through English Paper Piecing, raw-edge appliqué, classic patchwork, and decorative stitching-all brought together with a rainbow of Liberty Tana Lawn® prints.
You’ll learn a variety of techniques as you stitch each block, exploring how to shape, layer and embellish your fabric to create something truly special. The EPP method is wonderfully mindful and a great way to enjoy some slow stitching, while appliqué and decorative stitching add extra interest and detail.
Once completed, your mini quilt can be proudly displayed as a wall hanging, transformed into a cushion, or incorporated into a larger quilt. However you choose to finish it, it’s a beautiful way to celebrate the colours and creativity of summer.

You will need:
- Iron
- Pins
- Matching thread
- Heat-erasable pen
- Embroidery thread
- Hand sewing needle
- Fabric starch
- Ruler
- Cutting mat
- Scissors or rotary cutter
- Optional: sewing machine (with ability to drop feed dog), free motion quilting foot, glue stick
- Wadding – approx. 19" x 19" (48.5cm x 48.5cm)
- Iron-on adhesive (e.g. Bondaweb) – approx. 11" x 27½" (28cm x 70cm)
