The Marcello Coat slips on with the ease of a borrowed men’s piece, yet once belted, it reveals a softly feminine silhouette. Collarless with a framed neckline that follows the curve of the neck, it cinches neatly at the waist to create balance and shape.
The absence of buttons lends a relaxed, confident feel, while the tailored shoulder and back details bring subtle structure. Inspired by 1960s Italian tailoring, its clean lines and straight cut strike the perfect harmony between strength and softness, a draped layer you’ll reach for time and again. With its understated androgyny and timeless elegance, Marcello is a true wardrobe essential.
Suggested Fabrics: Only warp and weft fabrics, a wool, a tweed from 250 to 500g/m2, depending on the desired finish. We recommend choosing a specific lining fabric for the lining, such as ours which is 100% cupro - smooth and more breathable than a polyester lining.
Fabric Requirements: For a width of 140 cm.
You will also need: 110 cm length of iron-on interfacing
Sizing: 6 to 24 (34 to 52), for a height of 1m 65.
