This tool is incredibly useful for anyone working from line-by-line instructions. Originally designed to help keep track while knitting in the Fair Isle style, it is also excellent for following written patterns, cross stitch, and any other line-by-line instructions.
To use it, simply sandwich your instruction sheet between the front and back of the tracker. As you progress, you can move it up the sheet. The top ruler is made from clear acrylic (recycled, of course!), allowing you to see both the line you're currently on and the line you've just completed. When working from a chart, having the line below as a reference is essential to ensure you're in the correct position.
If you're dealing with a large pattern sheet and need a bigger base, the top part of the tracker can be used on any surface that attracts magnets.
