Description

Bring a roar of colour to your crochet with the Tiger Alebrije Crochet Kit from Make Me Roar! Inspired by the vivid Mexican folk art of Alebrijes, the fantastical dream creatures first imagined by artist Pedro Linares in the 1930s, this striking tiger design is full of spirit and bold personality.

In Linares’ famous dream, the forest came alive with bright and magical creatures calling out “Alebrijes!” These extraordinary hybrids became symbols of creativity and transformation, later appearing as spirit animals in Disney Pixar’s Coco.

The Make Me Roar Tiger Alebrije is designed in the amigurumi style and worked in a continuous spiral, with its vibrant stripes and details added using simple embroidery stitches over the crocheted surface. The pattern is clearly written and packed with step-by-step photographs, making it a fun and rewarding project for intermediate makers.
